Occ Health Program Manager will be a part of India Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Team and will serve as the designated central contact for all Occupational Health and Wellness for Amazon India operations.

Key job responsibilities
• Be the key driver to ensure development and implementation of Occ Health programs and policies specific to health, wellness, injury prevention, injury management, and return to work
• Supporting in Occ Health risk assessment activities including proactively analyze tasks for potential Industrial Hygiene issues, ergonomic issues, injury and illness prevention
• Providing guidance and implementing compliance to state and national level Occupational Health laws and legislation, required registrations and licenses.
• Assisting the WHS team in creating mechanisms for health and wellness related incident prevention programs while participating in WHS Safety Audits and Inspection programs as required
• Coordinating, training and coaching team members as require and involve in quality hiring, maintenance of regular standard work for the Occ Health team
• Assign responsible personnel to oversee implementation and monitor for effectiveness of the Health and Wellness program across IN Ops network.
• Lead regular Health/Wellness initiatives across India network to promote Occupational Health Program
• Ensure Occupational Health Program standard procedures and program initiatives are followed across India network
• Be actively involved with improvements to the standard work process, evaluating potential poor ergonomic conditions through change management processes by minimizing the risk of ergonomic injury to employees through early intervention awareness and education
• Ability to work independently and effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Exceptional diplomatic and interpersonal skills and ability to build strong professional relationships with a range of stakeholders in a challenging environment
• Provide OHS consultations and support to all stakeholders.
• Prepare and / or review of Health Activities planning and schedule of campaigns
• Producing statistical data to report trends in key risk areas, for senior management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher degree in medical/allied medical field like Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy (Ortho/Sports specialization), Ergonomics, Kinesiology, or related field
• 7+ year of relevant experience in managing an Occ health program or similar program
• Strong project management skills, with demonstrable ability to function and collaborate in a flexible, detail-oriented, fast-paced team environment in a changing and growing organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and tasks while meeting and exceeding deadlines.
• Strong team player with capability to work collaboratively and relatively independently, maintaining high standards of professional behavior.
• Proficient using Windows Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in Health/Business Management
• Advanced certification in clinical management
• Experience with Occupational Health regulations
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with all levels of the organization
• People management and strong communication, teamwork, judgment, and customer focus skills
