Job Description for Performance Engineering
Experience:
Minimum work experience: 5+ Years
General:
Evaluate Open-source tools to compliment the capabilities in a continues integration model.
Should have tested applications developed-using .NET, JAVA, SAP Web, SAP GUI, MQ etc.,
Should have performed early performance testing.
Ability to Work closely with development team, participating in design discussions and make sure performance guidelines are followed.
Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability & scalability.
Good hands-on experience with scripting – with tools like LoadRunner, Jmeter, NeoLoad, any mobile performance tool.
Should have worked in protocols like Web (HTTP/HTML), Web service, Java, RTE, Java Over HTTP, True Client & Mobile protocols etc.,
Ability to write user defined functions/custom code to automate the script challenges.
Identifying the performance issues in the early stage of test cycle and propose possible solutions.
Should have knowledge in any programing languages like Core Java, Python etc.
Monitoring & Analysis:
In depth knowledge in monitoring (Client side, Server Side, DB, Network and Load Balancer).
Should have analyzed & provided suggestions to dev/infra team on the issues noticed through APM tools – Wily, App Dynamics, Dyntrace, Splunk, New Relic etc.,
Should have developed automated utilities to analyze the logs/reports.
Should have worked on Unix/Linux commands like VMSTAT, NMON etc.,
Should have written SQL queries, used profiling tools like SQL Profiler.
Should have knowledge on JVM, CLR.
Good knowledge on Server Tuning & Optimization.
Good knowledge on Capacity Planning.
Install, configure, maintain and administer the performance tools.
Should have worked on Heap and thread dump analysis using any tool.
Reporting:
Should have demonstrated the performance reports to Clients with detailed inferences.
Should have worked on ALM/PC/QC/JIRA etc.,
Job Description for Performance Lead/ Consultant
Experience:
Minimum work experience: 5 – 12 Years.
General/Scripting
Good knowledge on Domain, Application architecture.
Facilitate and lead the NFT delivery activities.
Experience in managing large teams (10+) and complex projects.
Good in presentation and communications skills.
Good in stakeholder management.
Should have interacted with SMEs & Business to know PT/PE requirements.
Experience in Digital, Mobile and Cloud Platforms.
Ability to drive Shift Left/Right testing approach.
Develop performance improvement plan, based on business objectives.
Assess business challenges and risks and develop mitigation plans.
Good in creating Test Scope / Strategy / Plan.
Working closely with development team, participating in design discussions and make sure performance guidelines are followed.
Help Client to find which type of test, tools suits for the application requirements & demonstrate the capabilities of the tools (POC).
Knowledge on Server Tuning & Optimization.
Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability & scalability.
Should have ability to support topgear model and solution proposal.
Technical:
