The opportunity

We’re looking for Staff with expertise in Technical Strategy Consulting to join the leadership group of our EY Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.

SFDC Developer for Maintenance Project With 1 to 4 Yrs of Experience

 

Your key responsibilities

Participate in requirements analysis, outage and resolution of production issues.
Test and deploy applications and systems.
Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
Improve existing software.
Serve as a Support Engg on Applications and provide technical support.
Collaborate with internal teams to fix the issues.
Participate in application design, configuration, testing and deployment
Perform configuration and customization of the Salesforce.com platform.
Participate in efforts to develop and execute testing, training and documentation
Participate in the sales cycle as needed (solution definition, pre-sales, estimating and project planning)
Willing to be hands-on in producing tangible deliverables (requirements specifications, design deliverables, status reports, project plans)
Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and “how-to” assistance.
Sets up a development environment on their own, and has the ability to mentor a team of junior developers

 

Skills and attributes for success

2+ years of experience working on Salesforce platforms and Heroku
At least Salesforce certification “Salesforce Platform Developer I”
Direct experience working on CRM projects for middle market and enterprise size companies
Software engineering skills with Force.com Platform (Apex, LWC, SOQL, Unit Testing)
Experience in core web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript and jQuery
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modelling, and ETL tools
Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)
Experience with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, Attention to details.
Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices and ITIL Process.
Experience in using Service Now, Incident, Service Request and Change Management Process.
Education in Information Technology or equivalent working experience
Have exposure to working in shifts and on-call support.
