The opportunity

We’re looking for Staff with expertise in Technical Strategy Consulting to join the leadership group of our EY Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.

TechOps – Control-M SME With 6 to 8 Years of Experience
 

Your key responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain job schedules using Control-M scheduling software.
Monitor batch workflows and job executions, ensuring timely completion and addressing any failures or delays.
Collaborate with various IT teams to integrate new applications and workflows into the Control-M environment.
Perform regular maintenance and upgrades of the Control-M infrastructure.
Develop and maintain documentation for job scheduling and operational procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to job scheduling and execution.
Ability to multi-task under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be a team player and enjoy working in a cooperative and collaborative team environment.
Adaptable to new technologies and standards.

 

Skills and attributes for success

6 to 8 years of extensive hands-on experience in Control-M
SME knowledge on Control M, Experience with Control M APIs and Development
Create and modify the batch Jobs
Attempt to resolve incident, or escalate to the appropriate next level/development team
Experience in SQL and Linux
Familiar with Release management activities
Experience in running SQL in production
Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or PowerShell.
Should have working experience in a Support team and well versed with ITIL process (Incident, Change, Service Request & Problem)
Have exposure and ready to work in 24×7 shifts and on-call support.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

Be a computer science graduate or equivalent with 6 to 8 years of industry experience
Have working experience in an Agile base delivery methodology (Preferable)
Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution.
Strong analytical skills and enjoys solving complex technical problems
Proficiency in Software Development Best Practices
Excellent debugging and optimization skills
Experience in Enterprise grade solution implementations & in converting business problems/challenges to technical solutions considering security, performance, scalability etc
Excellent communicator (written and verbal formal and informal).
Participate in all aspects of solution delivery life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, production deployment, and support.
