We are in search of Network Engineers to join our team on an immediate basis. As a SD-WAN Implementation Engineer, your role will be to design and deploy SD-WAN & Network migration from legacy WAN to SD-WAN.
To be successful in this role, you ought to have a solid understanding of network basic. You also need to be well versed in network implementation best practices.
As a Design Engineer, you are required to ensure an effective and successful implementation of SDWAN solution from legacy Network. You are required to work with the Connectivity project management teams to manage and plan the implementation of the SDWAN solution across the organization. This includes acting as a channel for managing all design and implementation requirements, any resulting queries, technical impact assessment.
You are required to do an audit of sites that is in SD-WAN scope to ensure you are creating a correct HLD (High Level Design) and Bill of material to meet the project deployment requirement and mitigate the risks of missing out something.
Roles and Responsibilities: –
Responsible for implementing complete end to end SD-WAN deployment for around 700 offices across the globe, you will leverage your subject matter expertise to design and deliver enterprise SD WAN solutions.
You will work directly with different stakeholders and own the SDWAN deployment for the sites that will be allocated to you.
Prepare relevant design documents (PDD) within the agreed SLA period and ensure its approval from assurance engineer on time.
Work directly with the relevant Project Managers to plan and implement SDWAN changes.
Provide formal communications on changes or changes that will impact existing services & Keep Project Manager and Business Unit informed on impact of network changes.
Communicate and collaborate with peer groups (ordering team, Site Contact, Field Engineer)
Adhere to the change management process for SD-WAN deployment.
Work with Project Manager, site contact and other stake holder to gather information and provision the SD-WAN services
Able to demonstrate problem solving and troubleshooting skills on network connectivity issues during the implementation phase.
Ensure network diagrams are up to date and accurate, Detailed understanding and working knowledge of routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Working knowledge of WAN (L3 and L2 VPNs), GRE and Ipsec VPNs.
Installing, configuring, and supporting SD-WAN Edges and WAN Routers, including Cisco LAN and Aruba Wireless devices.
Mentor the team members on different technical issues. Communicate with the Project Manager and Delivery Leads as and when required. Maintain and update the Deployment reports on a timely basis.
Coordination with vendors and service provider for escalation.
Creating design and presentation related to SDWAN deployment.
Post Implementation Reviews of changes and maintaining lessons learnt repository.
Work Design documentation, testing, training, and post-deployment assessments
Candidate should be safety conscious, follow all Shell safety guidelines with live saving rules, and able to identify potential hazards prior to start any work on site.

*Experience & Qualifications:
8 – 10 years’ experience in IT service delivery in large complex organization
Good Knowledge on High Level and Low-Level Network Design Creation
Network Device configuration validation.
Knowledge on Palo Alto Firewall, Check Points Firewall, and zScaler Proxy.
Hands on Experience on Cisco or Viptela SDWAN solution.
Validation of Network diagram – LAN/WAN topology
Review of Network Device Configuration
Configure routing protocols like OMP, BGP and OSPF
Cisco SDWAN knowledge and experience, hands on experience of on Viptela vEdges Cisco WAN Edge Routers, vManage, vSmart and vBond. Creation of templates and policy as per the design requirement and guidelines.
Understanding of Wireless LAN networks (Aruba Wireless Experience Preferred)
Good Understanding of Routing & switching technologies (Cisco Solutions Preferred)
Knowledge on DNS, DHCP and IP address management (Infoblox solution preferred)
Familiar with WAN technologies
Familiar with Network access control technologies
Should be able to do the software code upgrade of network devices
Experience in Network Change & Configuration Management, Network Capacity Planning
Coordinate with multiple teams to integrate new solutions into existing network solutions enterprise wide
Coordinate and facilitate the integration and support for new equipment.
Work with the global teams to incorporate Shell standards and preferred practices during all network changes or any new network services provisioning
Professional certifications related to Networking / Telecommunications preferred (e.g., Cisco CCNP or CCDP).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized, possessing strong analytical abilities.
Proficiency in MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Power Point and MS Word
Preferred:
Good Knowledge and exposure to SDWAN projects.
Self-starter with good analysis and problem-solving skills
Experience working with senior stakeholders/ senior management
Network Architecting
