Job purpose:
Digital Banking experience with expertise in Solutioning, Technical Consulting,
Core Banking Solution Architecture and digital transformation to join the leadership group of our EY- Banking & Capital Markets Team with focus on Banking clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm building retail, commercial & SME Banking expertise for BCM clients.
Your Functional & Technical responsibilities:
Should have experience working for or with clients across one or more of retail banks/ commercial banks/ investment banks/ asset management firms/ lenders/ credit unions or other players in the financial services ecosystem.
Strong SME knowledge in either of the following:
Implementing, solutioning & designing Digital Banking solution offering across retail, & commercial banks
Understanding, solutioning & designing different core banking flows & solution offering across retail, corporate, landing. Strong experience in working on any banking product like Finacle/Temenos/FIS.
Working experience in at least one or more implementations of Digital Banking Solutions such as Kony, Backbase, Xamarin and Outsystems.
Good understanding of the architecture, administration, configuration, data structure of various Next Gen Digital Banking Products
Experience in broader Banking areas including Retail and Wholesale Banking Across channels – traditional (Branch Banking) and Digital including Online Banking, Mobile Banking, ATM, Kiosks, IVR, Social, Accounting, combined with good understanding of GL
Cross-component functional experience; identify and guide the processes between the domain and other Digital banking components, thus providing visibility of the end-to-end business processes
Expert in digital banking business and solutions mapping from a functional and business process perspective.
Responsible for delivering of multiple large scale/complex core transformation projects on digital banking, worked with existing application and supported custom development, customization and integration with in-house solutions.
Drive Banking platforms & domain growth in the BCM consulting practice working with Account and Delivery teams, drive engagement through the entire project lifecycle from pre-sale to execution and ongoing engagement
Experience in implementing & building enterprise core banking system with focus on recovery, stability, reliability, scalability and performance.
Should have expertise in banking architecture including digital landscapes and end-to-end delivery (from inception to productionization) of large-scale mission critical distributed core applications in financial services
Ability to work with and influence multiple stakeholders across regions
Go-to-market responsibilities:
Work with Global Account Leaders (Client Service Partners and Account Tech Leaders) to identify key solution themes and expand out the problem area and solution space in detail and define Go-to-market strategy and solution buildout.
Be responsible for deal solutioning on RFP’s and pro-active pitching:
Develop solutions from a tech transformation/Large Deals perspective
Build / lead a team of solution architects and technology evangelists
As pursuit leader, drive client workshops and RFP orals
Be on point for collaterals and other materials on GTM and solution offerings
Define Functional as well as Technical solutions including commercials for large and complex sales opportunities. Formulating and leading presales technical / functional solutioning activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Assist with development and presentation of high-level architectural solutions which achieve short and long-term business and/or technical goals or prospects and partners
Experience designing highly available, resilient, performant and secure solutions that deliver customer outcomes
Take a complex technical design involving multiple components and delivery partners and develop an implementation plan (design and build)
Think holistically, pulling ideas and concepts together from customer discussions and answer not only the challenge presented but identifying other areas that may not have considered
Must have creative mindset towards articulating the solution via presentation/demo
Your Management responsibilities:
Must ensure teams follow the correct procedures, policies and documentation requirements across project phases
Task allocation and performance evaluation of team members
Project scheduling and resource management
Planning, budgeting and reporting on projects
Make presentations on project status, present weekly, monthly and annual reports to senior management
Communicate with client teams and gather requirements, conduct regular team meetings and track project progress
Provide an efficient working atmosphere to project teams and ensure objectives are met within stipulated time

Contribute in growing the practice by performing Go to Market activities including presales & sales

Requirements (Qualifications)
We are looking for the candidates with the following:
BE/BTech/MCA/ with a sound banking & capital markets industry experience with Core Banking solutions of 15 to 20 years
Experience working in senior technical roles such as technical architect, solution architect, solution lead.
Exceptional communication skills – compelling, clear and concise. High degree of intellectual curiosity and ability to learn and apply new concepts and technologies to solve business problems
Ability to clearly articulate technical solutions in language and depth relevant to different stakeholders: customers technical teams and as well business and marketing stakeholders.
Team player who can collaborate with multiple stakeholders to meet tight deadlines to arrive at solution and services proposals and initial responses.
Willingness to travel up to 10-15% of the time.
Mandatory skills:
Mandatory experience in Banking/Cap Mkts Industry in one of the following:
Experience in Techni- Functional consulting with digital banking in the banking industry preferably a background of a banker in the retail/commercial areas or a functional consultant for top banking sector clients in a major IT firm.OR
Experience in core banking product like Finacle/FIS/Temenos with excellent banking domain skills, preferably a background of a banker in the retail/commercial area or a functional consultants for top banking sector clients in a major IT firm.
