Job summary
We are recruiting for Data Management Leaves Team Manager, Part of Disability & Leaves . This position specializes in Leave of absence management. You will partner with cross-functional teams like Operations, HR, and Payroll to provide world-class customer service. You will get the opportunity to collaborate with the broader Global Leave of absence team to standardize processes that ensure payroll accuracy and attendance policy adhesion. These transactions require due diligence, an eye on meeting policy and compliance requirements. The team supports business needs for Exempt and non exempt population within Amazon. Leveraging your skillset you will provide guidance, training and resolutions related to Leave of Absence. You will be responsible for leading shifts by overseeing ticket volume, escalations, quality, co-ordinating with Vendor teams and communicating end of shift reports to ensure the team meets service level commitments.

Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities:

1. Verify and perform data entry in multiple systems. Look for variances in the data for correction or further analysis.

2. Analyze and audit data for accuracy. Resolve and/or escalate to the stakeholders’ team as necessary.

3. Provide accurate and timely response to inquiries adhering to the SLAs

4. Understand and anticipate the downstream impacts from changes to time and attendance or pay impacting systems.

5. Manage the workflow of the team including service level adherence, absences, and increased volumes while maintaining team morale. Understand impacts of changes in PeopleSoft system and how these will impact internal/external interfaces.

6. Continually strive to improve efficiency and effectiveness of existing systems and look for enhancements related to current systems and procedures based on KAIZEN and LEAN methodologies.

7. Provide clear communication to partners and employees when researching and resolving inquiries.

8. Track, measure and report on the Service Level Agreement (SLA) metrics.

9. Demonstrate a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.

10. Manage escalations and investigate discrepancies.

11. Participate in a variety of project related activities, including analysis or preparation of documentation; communicate processes and best practices.

12. Conduct audits to ensure data accuracy and process adherence

About the team
Data Mgmt – Leave process lead will be responsible for maintaining a successful entry of data verification and entry into HRIS and LOAA systems, timekeeping systems, and payroll and pay information from our third party administrators (TPAs). The role will provide data, information and verification related to the workflow of leave of absence processes required for claim management. The associate will perform data entry and processing with accuracy and speed in multiple systems. This person will perform work at various points of the claim process and will follow defined instructions and processes steps.
