Job summary
The successful candidate will be a member of the Global Finance Operations and will be responsible for vendor experience and complex dispute management. Responsibilities will include: · Identifying root causes for problems within the supply chain or in internal Amazon systems and leading the initiative of fixing these problems- conduct follow-up tasks, communicate opportunities for improvement and agree action plans · Analyze key Supplier trends, govern mediation requirement based on analyzed trends · Acting as a main point of contact for TOP Amazon Suppliers, with the goal to develop strong business relationships, create mutual trust, and resolve any conflicts to avoid shipment holds or other business interruption · Prepare vendor health scorecard Conducting reviews and identifying vendor accounts that are likely to become a delivery hold situation and pro-actively working on their account balances · Addressing any account related inquiries and concerns from vendors and ensuring vendors know to use the Amazon tools · Manage Supplier portfolio, includes reviewing Amazon P&L impact & exploring possible ways for amicable settlements. This includes negotiating outstanding balances with the Vendors. · Drive defect resolution for Supplier identified defects. · Coordinate with internal stakeholders for amicable Vendor solutions. · Work with global stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and help drive the same. This would include driving a culture of continuous improvement through quality initiatives like Lean & Six Sigma. Other requirements: · Analyzing metrics relating to operational performance and effectively presenting data to vendors and internal teams · Working actively and accurately on an independent basis; giving great attention to detail and displaying the initiative to quickly identify and resolve variances, failures and discrepancies · Interacting with Retail & Finance teams while working on the same vendor account and agreeing on priorities, business decisions, objectives and communication

Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities will include: ·Research Quantity Shortages using Amazon Tools and interfaces. > Address vendor queries on shortages, payouts, settlements and defect management > Review Vendor/Supplier portfolio, analyze defect trends. Build impact analysis of vendor defects > Drive Vendor Engagement and Defect Reduction > Engage Stakeholders to drive optimal solutions for Vendors > Drive High vendor experience while also focusing on operational metrics of Turn Around Time and Ageing. Experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable field is an advantage

About the team
Pay On Receipt Team is part of Global Retail Account Payables team. We investigate the data from upstream supply chain, data from vendors and in house matching and payment system to systematically identify defects to create long term fixes by working with other teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

4+ years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in a role requiring application of analytic skills in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analyst role.
• Experience conducting large scale data analysis to support business decision making.
• Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
• Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or dirty data.
• An ability and interest in working in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment.
