Amazon and MX Player recently joined forces to accelerate premium free entertainment for 250 million users in India. With this acquisition, Amazon merged two of India’s most popular free AVOD (or ad-supported video on demand) services – MX Player and Amazon miniTV into one service – Amazon MX Player.
Amazon MX Player is Amazon India’s big bet in terms of shaping the future of the free AVOD landscape in India. We are looking for senior creative leader, who can help shape our brand and creatives for our new exciting show slate. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work in a start-up like environment and is passionate about building clutter breaking creatives / marketing campaigns to build viewer interest for our new shows.

This is a leadership role reporting into the head of the business. You should be comfortable with building structure in a high growth and ambiguous environment, build and implement a creative strategy for our content, and ability to work with multiple stakeholders / teams.
Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Creative Leader, you will:
– Work closely with production houses, content and marketing teams to develop creatives for Amazon MX Player Originals and licesed shows
– Work closely with the marketing team to build a common brand design architecture for the Amazon MX Player brand, which will reflect across all our external marketing campaigns
– Create bespoke and strategic creative strategies that generate advertiser interest in sponsoring Amazon MX Player shows
– Have a strong POV and creative vision along with a clear, concise ability to provide direction to internal and external partners
– Articulate and pitch creative concepts to peers, senior management, Executive Producers and talent
– Solve for business, customer, and stakeholder requirements while building creative that is unique, stunning and effective
– Think across platforms (mobile, social media, Connected TV, newspaper, OOH) cand create tailored creatives across channels that help drive marketing objectives
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s degree
– 10+ years of creative design experience that encompasses digital, interactive, marketing, and brand design
– Strong creative writing and verbal communication skills
– Proven success in project management and execution across all forms of media, print, video, social, OOH and digital mass media
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote
– Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery
– Experience managing creative (internal team of designers, copywriters, external agencies and freelancers)
– Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives
– Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
