As a Specialist Demand Generation Representative you will thrive combining your technical cloud knowledge and sales and business acumen. You will work closely with the Amazon Partner Network (APN) team and with the extensive partner ecosystem to come up with creative ways to scale and grow the business through programs you will help coordinate with Systems Integrators and Independent Software Vendors. Partnering with stakeholders ranging from C-level executives to technical decision makers to help make their cloud migration journey a success.

Key job responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include using intelligent prospecting to identify, create and qualify opportunities and engage in in-depth conversations with key stakeholders, both outbound and inbound calls, primarily within the Greenfields / Enterprise account space. Conversations will focus on migrations and data, analytics and ML from initial conversation to close. To support your solution selling efforts, we will use multi-modal, targeted campaigns, to help you identify new customer sales opportunities. Once engaged with a customer or prospect, you will successfully understand customer business issues by using excellent listening and communication skills, demonstrate how these issues can be solved and the unique benefits of solving them with AWS services. You’ll also work closely with the Amazon Partner Network (APN) team and with Amazon’s extensive partner ecosystem to come up with creative ways to scale and grow the business through programs you’ll help coordinate with Systems Integrators and Independent Software Vendors. You’ll be partnering with stakeholders ranging from C-level executives to Technical Decision Makers to help make their cloud migration journey a success.

About the team
This role is within the APJ CSC team. The SDGR is the specialist sales engine of CSC and is focused on new customer acquisitions and leveraging current accounts and relationships across APJ at scale. You will have the exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally and cross-geographically, as you collaborate with internal stakeholders across sales, operations, partner, and marketing teams, while being part of an entirely new business with APJ.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* &gt3 year Experienced in IT sales and/or technical background
* Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships
* Experience managing numerous requests and time demands concurrently
* BA/BS degree or relevant experience
* Proficiency using CRM software and Outlook

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Self-starter, with proven professional success, who is prepared to work in a fast-paced environment
* L200 knowledge of AWS services
* Experience navigating prospective accounts from and into a senior executive level to identify new customer opportunities in a focused market space
*Skills at presenting technical solutions at a high level to prospects and customers
* In-depth knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing; understand and identify opportunities for customers
* Competence developing and delivering presentations to large and diverse audiences
* Sales certification from accredited university
* Capable of understanding of customer pain points, requirements and correlating potential business to value that can be provided by technical services.
