DESCRIPTION
How we do improve Amazon’s pricing strategy and onsite price experience to improve price perception among customers? This is the key question we are trying to answer at scale for the millions of customers we have worldwide. The Price Perception team is looking for a Senior Market Research Manager to lead Customer research projects to answer this question. This research will inform company-wide strategy and our own team’s feature development plans. Our team is equal parts customer research, data science and price-related feature development.
Key job responsibilities
In this role you will manage several high-visibility, worldwide research projects to uncover customer insights. You will design customer research programs, analyze results, design tools to support self-service analysis and communicate results, all in collaboration with stakeholders across the company. You will find creative ways act on these insights, translate ideas into designs, and harness the passion and energy of our development team (and partners across the company) to bring these designs into the world for our customers.
A successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of written and verbal communication and strong customer empathy. They will be comfortable collaborating within a global team with high executive visibility. The ideal candidate will have a the ability to communicate with executive stakeholders, a sense of humor and demonstrated ability to have fun.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience in marketing or marketing research
– Experience communicating results to stakeholders
– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
– Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
– 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– MBA
– Experience communicating results to senior leadership
