Sub-function: Reporting & Data Analytics (Leadership Support Team)
The opportunity
This Report Advisor role is in the R&DA Leadership Support Team.
This role coordinates the Global weekly and monthly results reporting and commentary sent to Global Leadership. Outputs include the Global Weekly financial flash, and the month end results reports such as the Global Financial Results Report Pack.
This role also includes the production of the Global year end results as reported externally via the annual Global press release, and provision of insights on the comparison of EY to our competitor externally published results.
As well as producing the reports and commentary outlined above, the role also supports Leadership by responding to queries on weekly and monthly results.
Your key responsibilities
Review data quality and provide insightful messages to Leadership on material data issues impacting understanding of the results (holiday shifts, data input errors, distortions from EAF/ETC input errors)
Production of weekly/monthly global reports and related analysis and results commentary
Manage the actions needed to ensure a successful month end reporting process, such as issuing relevant instructions and communications (for example the month end report timeline communication)
Coordinate and assist with the YE reporting process including production of data for the external press release, and liaising with the Global Brand Marketing and Communications team on the production of the press release content and any follow up questions.
Assist in answering leadership queries and requests for analysis.
Coordinate the reporting support provided by our team in GDS India
Skills and attributes for success
Experience of EY reporting applications, data and management structures
Experience of management reporting and analysis at a global enterprise level
Attention to detail and high accuracy of completed work
Professional attitude and good communicator, with fluent English skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
What we look for
Good knowledge of EY key reporting metrics and drivers, and proven insights/analysis skills
Challenging customers insightfully to collect useful analysis on results/trends, and have an ability to clearly explain business messages on trends and results to others.

Experience
To qualify for this role you must have
5 plus years of experience in a finance reporting and analysis role
Good knowledge of EY Financial and Markets Metrics and Drivers.
Experience of using EY Reporting Applications such as Global Financial Reporting Application (standard reports and FR cube)
