Job summary
How we do improve Amazon’s pricing strategy and onsite price experience to improve price perception among customers? This is the key question we are trying to answer at scale for the millions of customers we serve worldwide. The Price Perception team is looking for a Program Manager to lead a portfolio of projects and help deliver on our vision of delighting customers globally with low prices and great value, all the time. The role will require working with several business stakeholders including category leaders and pricing SMEs on an ongoing basis to define pricing strategy by making trade-offs between growth and profitability investments. As a Program Manager, you will:

Drive moderately complex medium to large scale projects from initiation through delivery.
Support critical relationships with internal teams in Seattle, Bangalore, Chennai and external business partners.
Streamline and lead the development of the product execution partnering with internal Pricing teams and external stakeholders
Define creative, high quality, simple project plan partnering with onsite and offshore partner teams
Own the progress of launch goals and KPIs by applying strong management practices of monitoring, analyzing, identifying and resolving performance challenges through preparing and completing action plans
Drive continuous process improvement by collaborating with stakeholders on design of new solutions that enhance business performance and achieve established goals
Mine and analyze data for metrics and decision support.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years experience in program or project management
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
3+ years experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in building, improving and re-engineering business processes and business analytics.
Proven record of innovation and thought leadership
Ability to work independently with limited general supervision
Ability to collaborate with a diverse set of business customers and drive conflict resolution
Understanding of software development lifecycle and how it pertains to project management lifecycle
Experience using Six Sigma, Lean or other process improvement methodology to streamline business processes
A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations
