Job summary
The Employee Experience team is looking for a Program Manager (PM) to drive content strategies that help SP Support build their brand within Amazon. We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking candidates with a passion for creating, editing and optimizing content for a global audience. The PM will work closely with the Operations team and other support functions like HR, Recruiting and Internal Communications teams to deliver a best-in-class PSAS experience for both internal and external audience.
The Candidate should be comfortable working in highly ambiguous environment. Ownership of work is extremely important, and candidates should have a proven record of working with projects to their completion. The ideal candidate is motivated, agile, with strong time management and project management skills. This opportunity requires excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. In this role, you will:
· Deliver communications counsel to internal executives on both short- and long-term challenges and opportunities
· Research and integrate industry news, trends and compelling angles into internal communications and platforms
· Write, develop and manage approvals for news releases, org’ advisories, fact sheets, and related media materials for Amazon’s PSAS business
· Successfully manage complex, fast-moving, and unexpected communications challenges
· Collaborate with leaders across the globe to create employee-facing support content, including Wiki pages, announcements, and emails to our Support Associates
· Use a combination of data analysis, end-user research, and content audits to make content decisions and orchestrate quality development
· Own delivering on complex projects on tight deadlines and multitask in an environment with competing priorities and deliverables
· Identify business needs and opportunities in our content calendar and recommend new topics, evolve existing content strategies, and propose new tools to measure content reach
· Evangelize content standards that reflect the voice of Amazon
· Improve operational metrics and content development processes
· Obsess over details and advocate for the delivery of the right content at the right time, delivered in the right place
· Focus on both the end-to-end and tactical components of the brand experience and collaborate in an environment that is global and cross-functional
· Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic to PSAS newsletter site (Future scope)
· Detailing the updates & program charter in roadmap documents and present to senior leadership as required
· Measure Improvements and impact of changes and set-up mechanisms to audit impact and perform necessary course corrections where needed to meet business objectives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years experience in program or project management

Qualifications:
Masters or Bachelors in Arts / Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
Relevant experience working in an e-Commerce environment, ideally in a retail, publishing, or media company
Strong understanding of online UX
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
A customer-centric design ethos
Experienced working closely with a Marketing / Commercial department to run campaigns with a clear ROI
Familiarity with web publications
Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
Practical knowledge and skill in the use of project management methodologies and tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA from a leading business school (preferred)
5+ years of program management experience
Prior experience managing online services
Entrepreneurial spirit, with track record for delivering results in fast-moving and demanding environments
History of developing business strategy in conjunction with senior leadership
