A successful candidate will have an established background in driving complex programs portfolio with considerable impact, excellent program management, problem solving and communication skills and be comfortable interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. The candidate should have a history of driving deep insights from complex data, have exceptional business judgement including financial acumen to quickly assess the viability of key decisions, ability to write compelling business documents and drive outcomes for senior leadership at Amazon. The ability to influence cross functionally and across the organization, at all levels, will be absolutely critical to success in this role.

Key job responsibilities
• Experience of managing complex business processes at scale.
• Drive end-to-end high impact and high visibility programs that impact pricing and hence customer experience on Amazon
• Strong communication and influencing skills with an ability to deal with a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in defining, developing and using metrics to drive the vision and manage the business.
• Analyze data and dive deep into processes to derive insights for enhancing systems
• Ability to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business and technical domains.
• Liaise with tech, product, ops and category teams to ensure timely deliverables for key projects
• Ability to work effectively & independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Write compelling business documents and drive outcomes for senior leadership at Amazon

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in people management
3+ years experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
3+ years experience in program or project management

• Overall 8+ years of experience
• Experience using Six Sigma, Lean or other process improvement methodology to streamline business processes

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in building, improving and re-engineering business processes and business analytics.
• Strong process and Tech orientation; ability to find efficient solutions to problems and automate tasks.
• Proven record of innovation and thought leadership
• Ability to work independently with limited general supervision
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse set of business customers and drive conflict resolution
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and how it pertains to project management lifecycle
• Experience using Six Sigma, Lean or other process improvement methodology to streamline business processes
• A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations
• PMP certification
