OEM Auto / Auto Ancillary (tier 1) preferred
CAD : UG NX (must), Creo (preferrable) with experience in Plastics and Sheetmetal
Competencies- Solid Modelling, Assembly modelling, drafting, GD&T
knowledge of Transmission/Axle/Driveline, casting, forging, standards.
Knowledge of various manufacturing processes.
Customer interaction, problem solving capacity.
MS-office (Word , excel, PowerPoint)
Job Description / Responsibilities
Shall be able to create & understand workflow (EWO, SR etc.) in AWC Teamcenter PLM system
Assist and lead root cause analysis of technical issues
Provide technical support to customer during all phases of development including Conventional Gear box, pre-sourcing, vehicle validation, product validation, vehicle start of production (SOP), and post-SOP
Communicate all engineering and development issues as needed to internal functions ? Program Management, Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Warranty, and Engineering Management
Prepare and conduct technical presentations (Customer internal)
Communicate all engineering and development issues as needed to Customer internal functions including but not limited to; Program Management, Sales, Quality, Warranty, & Engineering Management
Working experience of cad tools UG NX & Creo required
Thorough understanding of ASME Y 14.5, GD&T, stack-ups
Understanding of materials, heat treatment & Transmission & driveshaft assembly process is required
Working knowledge of Casting, Forging & Welding processes is essential
Shall be able to understand & perform design, structural calculations related to driveline
Hands on experience on Drafting, Assembly, and part modelling
Strong experience applying systems engineering fundamentals. Working level knowledge of subsystem/component manufacturing/assembly methods and vehicle assembly; subsystem/component manufacturing/assembly.
