Job Description

 

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to create exceptional productarchitectural design for the existing and new products and enabledelivery teams to provide exceptional client engagement andsatisfaction.

 

Do

 

Develop architectural designs for the newand existing products
Define product requirements and design needs by displayingcomplete understanding of product vision and business requirements
Understand market- driven business needs and objectives; technologytrends and requirements to define architecture requirements and strategy
Create a product-wide architectural design that ensures systems arescalable, reliable, and compatible with different deployment options
Develop theme-based Proof of Concepts (POCs) in order to demonstratethe feasibility of the product idea and realise it as a viable one
Analyze, propose and implement the core technology strategy forproduct development
Conduct impact analyses of changes and new requirements on theproduct development effort
Provide solutioning of RFPs received from clients andensure overall product design assurance as per business needs
Collaborate with sales, development, consulting teams to reconcilesolutions to architecture
Analyse technology environment, enterprise specifics, clientrequirements to set a product solution design framework/ architecture
Provide technical leadership to the design, development andimplementation of custom solutions through thoughtful use of moderntechnology
Define and understand current state product features and identifyimprovements, options & tradeoffs to define target state solutions
Clearly articulate, document and sell architectural targets,recommendations and reusable patterns and accordingly propose investmentroadmaps
Validate the solution/ prototype from technology, cost structure andcustomer differentiation point of view
Identify problem areas and perform root cause analysis ofarchitectural design and solutions and provide relevant solutions to theproblem
Tracks industry and application trends and relates these to planningcurrent and future IT needs
Provides technical and strategic input during the productdeployment at the client site
Support Delivery team during the product deployment process andresolve complex issues
Collaborate with delivery team to develop a product validation andperformance testing plan as per the business requirements andspecifications.
Identifies implementation risks and potential impacts.
Maintain product roadmap and provide timely inputs for productupgrades as per the market needs

 

Enable Delivery Teams by providing optimal deliverysolutions/ frameworks
Build and maintain relationships with executives, technicalleaders, product owners, peer architects and other stakeholders tobecome a trusted advisor
Develops and establishes relevant technical, business processand overall support metrics (KPI/SLA) to drive results
Identify technical, process, structural risks and prepare a riskmitigation plan for the product
Ensure quality assurance of all the architecture or designdecisions and provides technical mitigation support to the deliveryteams
Leads the development and maintenance of enterprise frameworkand related artefacts
Develops trust and builds effective working relationshipsthrough respectful, collaborative engagement across individual productteams
Ensure optimal Client Engagement
Support pre-sales team while presenting the entire product designand its principles to the client
Negotiate, manage and coordinate with the client teams to ensure allrequirements are met and create an impact of solution proposed
Demonstrate thought leadership with strong technical capability infront of the client to win the confidence and act as a trusted advisor

Develop and present a point of view of Wipro on productdesign and architect by writing white papers, blogs etc.

Mentor developers, designers and Junior architects for theirfurther career development and enhancement
