Role Content
You will work with the Global Payroll Compliance team and work on the Global Mobility policies and create mobility policy for various countries.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Work with Global Payroll Compliance leader to develop internal policies on global business travel guardrails
• Develop policies and procedures relating to business travel processing within Payroll
• Liaise with stakeholders and manage cross-functional projects relating to cross border work and business travel
• Undertake risk assessments for cross border requests in line with Amazon policies and external regulations
• Assist project teams developing business travel technologies to provide a payroll centric perspective
• Undertake risk assessments for business travel encompassing all areas touching payroll compliance, including income tax and social security. Have awareness of other risk management areas such as Corporate Tax and labor legislation (PWD)
• Develop policies and review requests for specific cross border populations, including cross-border commuters and personal remote work requests

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Tax, Employment Legal and / or Payroll experience with specific exposure to countries in APAC
Global Mobility experience
Excellent knowledge of international payroll, employment tax and social security legislation
Strong knowledge about cross border workers, tax treaties and other international employment legislation
Advanced analytical skills and the ability to dive deep into details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture
Fluent in English in both written and verbal communication

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors or Masters in a relevant subject matter, such as Finance/Tax
Previous Payroll Compliance management experience across multiple geographies
Experience within a control or audit environment
Additional language skills
Project management experience
