As a Partner Solutions Architect focused on Migration partners within Amazon Internet Services Private Limited (‘AISPL”), you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of AWS’ services across the partner community in India. Your broad responsibilities will include: owning the technical engagement with strategic partners, assist partners with AWS Migration Competency, define the architecture of new consulting partner offerings, and define the strategy for enabling and educating partners to increase productivity, quality, and efficiency on AWS engagements in India.
This is the right role for someone who has experience working for or with a Systems integrator, or technology consulting firm. If you are a problem solver with broad technical skills, and have the ability to drive technical conversations you will enjoy this role.
Working with Consulting Partners is a team effort that will require influence and coordination with many stakeholders. You should be just as comfortable talking storage and networking with the VP of Infrastructure or continuous deployment with the DevOps team, TCO with the CFO, and cloud strategy with the CIO. The ideal candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
As a strategic member of the India Migrations Growth team, you will act as a trusted advisor to our systems integrators.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Collaborating with Partners on strategic migration opportunities to deliver compelling solutions for our customers in India
· Practice building within our aspiring partners looking to develop a robust methodology for migrations.
· Build massive scale, high quality migration factories with AWS Consulting Partners
· Driving Partners through the AWS Migration Competency program.
· Running engaging mechanisms to enable our partners – i.e. Migration GameDay
· Provide guidance to partner engineering teams
· Promote partners internally and externally
· Turn big ideas into products and services, and help influence the direction of AWS

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:
· Hands-on experience in IT infrastructure migration, software re-platforming, systems administration, or migration software vendor solutions for the cloud.
· Experience in a broad set of technologies related to DevOps and IT infrastructure migration
· History of successful technical sales consulting and architecture engagements
· 5+ years of experience working in a customer facing role
· Outstanding verbal and written communications skills in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications
· An advanced degree in computer science, engineering or mathematics is preferred
· Previous experience working in a leading integrator or Global Systems Integrator
· Strong public speaking and written communications skills
· Strong experience on AWS
· AWS certifications
