Job Title: Meeting and Events Technology Operations Supervisor
Function: Supply Chain Services
Sub-Function: Global Travel, Meetings, and Events (TME)
We are seeking a dedicated Meeting and Events (M&E) Technology Operations Manager to join our global Travel, Meeting and Events (TME) team. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our M&E products and tools are functioning in alignment with our supplier agreements and are tailored to fulfill the needs of the M&E team.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the management of the tools that influence the TME M&E process, including both external third-party tools and internal proprietary tools and processes.
Lead projects related to the enhancement and modification of M&E tools, ensuring that they meet the evolving requirements of the team.
Serve as the primary liaison between the M&E team and the technical and development teams, ensuring that all requirements are documented accurately and comprehensively.
Act as the escalation point for the M&E team for any technical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution with the appropriate tool or supplier/internal technical team.
Take ownership of the product management for third party tools, including:
Acting as the escalation point of contact for any issues raised by the global TME team.
Tracking and driving to closure all issues in collaboration with the supplier contacts.
Conducting monthly Service Level Agreement (SLA) monitoring to ensure performance and compliance of relevant suppliers.
Participating in weekly supplier calls to discuss performance, issues, and continuous improvement opportunities.
Actively participate in weekly TME Innovation governance meetings
Identifying and acting on opportunity analysis and action planning to ensure our processes evolve in line with changing work and industry landscapes.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in managing technology operations within M&E or a related industry.
Strong understanding of M&E processes and tools, with a preference for candidates with experience in managing third party suppliers.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead enhancement initiatives and manage cross-functional teams.
Exceptional communication and documentation skills, with the ability to serve as a bridge between operational, technical, and supplier teams.
A proactive problem-solver with a track record of delivering improvements and resolving issues efficiently.
Ability to monitor and enforce SLAs with suppliers, ensuring accountability and high-quality service delivery.
