DESCRIPTION
Are you interested in establishing a new function from scratch that directly impacts the roadmap of Last Mile teams? We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader to establish and lead the charter for Business Excellence in LMAQ. The incumbent will be primarily responsible for
– Build and establish ACES charter for Driver Lifecycle Programs
– Lead Training and Transaction Quality teams
– Strengthen Capacity planning and Workforce Management capabilities
– Help build strategic direction to meet program and operational goals through the above levers.
– Establishes measurement, reporting and process excellence indicators for effective accomplishment of goals in core processes. Manages metric performance tactically and strategically;
– Sets appropriate operational and people goals for the team at all levels and holds them accountable; Owns processes, staffing, metrics and business updates for the function.
– Thinks long-term and establishes scalable/modular processes for easy adaptation to business scope changes. Manages complex problems, decisions, and escalations. Mitigates long-term risks. Finds a path forward in difficult situations. Makes trade-offs: short vs. long-term needs.
– Proactively identifies tool and system requirements that reduce operational defects; Ensures impact- and benefit-driven prioritization of process excellence projects.
– Works with inter-functional teams to streamline processes. Identifies and drives process excellence along with Program and Tech teams.
The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and clearly communicate progress. They contribute to improvement projects by proposing enhancements to tools and working on continuous improvement of business process that address key team pain-points to set them up for success. The person is a self-starter, set vision and manages teams and sets clear goals for team performance management. The person has track record of driving process excellence. Knowledge or experience in Six sigma, LEAN, DMAIC, Kaizen and/or statistical process control projects is required.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
– 5+ years of team management experience
– 5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
– 5+ years of program or project management experience
– Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
