Job Description
Management of Circle Branch Operations To lead and manage the Wholesale Banking Operations in the circle in terms of clean and error free operations.
To ensure branches visits as per the laid down frequency To provide the highest standard on Turn-around-time for Trade, Account Opening, Retail Asset disbursements, Mortgages Account opening, Cash Management & Clearing.
Analyze root cause of errors and Attempted /Actual fraud and suggest corrective measures.
Rollout of new locations & products at branches as per business requirements To ensure smooth functioning of Currency Chest and Bulk Cash Counter as per laid down procedures of RBI and internal processes.
Resource Management Grooming staff and taking requisite steps towards providing career progression for deserving candidates.
Take stock of development, requirement and feedback from Cluster Head& Branch Head.
Carrying on job rotations to create fungible resource and provide support to handle spurt in volumes.
Vendor Management for outsourced activities, ensure that service levels are met as per bank standards.
Clean Audits and Compliance Ensure Clean Audit reports during Internal, Process, Concurrent and Regulatory audits at all WBO branches in the Circle.
Review and monitoring of Suspense Accounts and reporting of resulting exceptions to the State Head.
Ensure no staff lapses, errors and take corrective actions.
Cost Management Take corrective action for reduction of costs at all clusters /branches under purview Ensure to review Cost file, raise for reversals and keep a tight lid on cost parameter.
Vendor cost negotiation and change in vendors based on comparative analysis among other circle branches.
Co-ordination with all Stakeholders Local co-ordination and meetings with other Vertical/Groups to take a leadership role in the territory & to bring the products to deeper geography.
Ensure good rapport with RBI/Regulator.
Legal cases to be handled properly in co-ordination with Branch Control Unit/Seniors Ensure smooth coordination with other internal stakeholders such as HR, Admin, Audit, BTG,BCU, Infra etc.
Supporting Regional Seniors Tracking implementation of projects and providing MIS to the State Head & Regional Head.
Functioning as back-up to the State Head in case of leave, exigencies, if specifically required to do so.
Any other responsibilities entrusted from time to time.
