Global Managed Service – Identity and access Management – Senior
The Okta Provisioning Senior Consultant is a critical role responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effective management of user identities and access permissions within an organization using the Okta Identity Management platform. This senior-level position involves leading provisioning processes, developing strategies for integration and automation, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements / Responsibilities:
Lead the administration and management of user accounts, roles, and access rights within the Okta platform.
Design and implement efficient user provisioning and de-provisioning workflows in collaboration with HR, IT, and security teams.
Serve as a subject matter expert for Okta authentication, authorization, SSO, and MFA solutions.
Oversee the integration of new applications with Okta and ensure seamless SSO experiences across the organization.
Develop and maintain IAM policies, procedures, and documentation, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
Conduct regular access reviews and audits to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
Provide advanced technical support and training to end-users and junior analysts regarding Okta functionalities and access management best practices.
Drive identity governance initiatives and enhance role-based access control (RBAC) models.
Recommend and implement improvements to IAM processes and the overall Okta environment.
Stay informed about Okta updates, new features, and IAM industry trends to drive innovation within the organization.
Develop and maintain documentation for processes, workflows, and configurations.
Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and IAM best practices.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders regarding identity management processes.
Monitor and report on system performance, usage, and security issues.
Preferred Skills:
3-5 years of experience in identity and access management, with a strong focus on Okta or similar IAM platforms.
In-depth knowledge of IAM principles, SSO, MFA, directory services, and cloud identity management.
Proven track record of managing complex user provisioning and de-provisioning scenarios.
Familiarity with IT security standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Strong leadership abilities and experience mentoring junior staff.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Okta Certified Administrator, Okta Certified Consultant, Okta Certified Professional) are highly desirable
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Work Requirements:
Willingness to travel as required
Willingness to be on call support engineer and work occasional overtime as required
Willingness to work in shifts as required
