Our Finance Operations division is seeking a well-organized, self-motivated and highly intelligent Executive Assistant. As a fast-paced, continually growing department, we are seeking a driven individual with a history of high performance to assist our executives.

Key job responsibilities

Managing complex, international schedules.
Manage the team’s space including moves and new hire onboarding.
Organize and execute team activities (staff meetings, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events), as well as business travel.
Assist executives’ direct reports by acting as a liaison.
Serve as a trusted business partner for senior level management.

A day in the life

Coordination and proactive management of calendars across multiple teams to meet business cycles and deliverables.
Providing effective and proactive support to Directors and team members.
Expense report submission.
Coordinate events (team meetings, morale events).
Plan domestic and international travel.
Solve ambiguous problems, big and small, with scalable solutions and mechanisms.
Track and drive completion of key deliverables and outstanding items.
Organize, prioritize, and address sensitive, confidential information and requests in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the leadership team, Executive Assistants, and the larger Amazon community.

About the team
Finance Operations Accounting & Analysis (FOAA) provides accounting, financial planning, and analysis services for Amazon Finance teams, including Finance Operations and Central Accounting.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant.
Experience with executive level calendar management.
Experience with domestic and/or international travel coordination.
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Desire and aptitude for learning new concepts on the job.
Ability to work in a highly ambiguous, fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments while maintaining commitment to deadlines and long-term goals.
Experience with reconciling expenses, international travel (including visas) and event planning.
Experience with Microsoft Office Products.
