Job Description:
Designs functional specifications of applications to address business and user needs
Identifies internal and external factors which may impact requirements
Documents requirements including customer journey, features, user stories, cross-team dependencies, separating core product build vs. integration features, outlining what is in and out of scope
Determines objectives, dependencies, resources, timelines, metrics, costs and risks associated with the proposed plans and initiatives
Helps identify problems, opportunities and methods for improving existing business processes and workflows
Uses a variety of business process and workflow design tools and techniques
Supports the evaluation of trade offs from the incorporation of different elements into the design and their impact on overall functionality, interoperability, efficiency and costs of the software
Presents a compelling business case for proposed solutions
Participates in the development of systems during various stages of the development lifecycle
