Director – People Consulting

As a member of the PC leadership team focused on HR and business performance, you will join a talented group of professionals that are focused at building the PC business nationally.

Your key responsibilities
As a Director, you will be responsible for scaling up the business and contribute to strategic priorities in HR focusing on financial services GCCs. You will also be responsible for ensuring delivery excellence, program managing large client initiatives and providing oversight to a highly competent team. You will be expected to excel at client relationship management, deliver insightful solutions and balance multiple priorities. You will also be expected to have excellent networking skills, both inside and outside of EY. More specifically, you should
Lead and contribute to the HR consulting related to revenue growth in by generating leads for new business opportunities.
Interact with existing client accounts within to mine for additional engagements/ extensions
Be responsible for generating profitable revenue, through lead identification (using external and internal EY networks); delivery of existing work and by winning add-ons to existing engagements
Demonstrate technical competence in our capabilities listed above, and take a practical/business driven approach to solving complex client challenges
Lead activities including proposal making, presentations, commercial negotiation, business economics management
Lead project work streams from planning through to implementation – managing project resources and budgets effectively
Be able to influence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for any major change initiatives and/or decisions
Encourage and facilitate collaboration amongst team members, and promote an inclusive working environment
Identify and effectively manage and mitigate any risks and issues
Provide coaching and development opportunities for junior resources and peers, and act as a visible role model for our people
Skills and attributes for success
Experience in/ appreciation across the PC Consulting portfolio
Relevant professional experience, including for example previous work with a Big 4, global management consultancy firm, niche consultancy or performed an in-house role in which you gained exposure to building and delivering on such large-scale project(s)
Exposure to and good understanding of how GCCs are structured and work, including people related challenges.
Good understanding of the market and key people practices/trends across GCC sector
Entrepreneurial drive and determination
To qualify for the role you must have
Post graduate degree or equivalent with a specialization in Human Resources (India or abroad)
13+ years of work experience, including business development experience.
Exposure and experience in consulting plus GCCs
Ideally you’ll also have
Strong communication, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Be flexible, adaptable, and creative.
A network of strong C-Suite relationships
High comfort in interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
Strong leadership skills and team building skills
