About the Role: We are looking for a hands-on, detail oriented and highly motivated data analyst to help create data backed insights. The candidate should be comfortable interfacing with technology systems and be able to analyze data and gather actionable conclusions. Operating in a rapidly changing environment will require the candidate to be adept at dealing with ambiguous, new and challenging situations. The candidate will be comfortable in executing repeatable processes. The candidate should also have an excellent understanding of SQL and query development, good business acumen and the ability to work with quantitative and business teams.

Role and Responsibilities:

Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions
Understand Amazon seller Services products and services and track/report business performance and problem areas using appropriate metrics
Use Amazon’s tools to problem solve and validate solutions
Partner with global teams to define and track goals around key operational metrics
Help identify process improvement opportunities to build streamlined and scalable solutions

This position is based in Bangalore, India

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree required with 2+ years relevant experience in business analysis & reporting
Hands on experience of SQL/ETL and knowledge of statistical analysis tools and techniques
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows based applications
Demonstrated Analytical ability, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction
The ability to take convert raw requirements into a good design while exploring technical feasibility trade-off
Excellent communication skills – Demonstrated ability to communicate (written & spoken) complex technical problems in simple plain stories. Ability to present information professionally & concisely with supporting data.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of Python and R code is a plus.
Knowledge of web development is a plus.

Exposure to AWS will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of statistical modelling and ML techniques is a plus.
