Overview
This career opportunity within our career framework is at Senior Partner level and is for the Consumer Consulting business unit. The role as a Partner – CPG & Retail Practice Lead, Europe will lead growth of the consulting business across strategic account(s) by leveraging both; existing & emerging capabilities, in addition to creating new strategic growth areas to deliver significant profitable growth for the accounts and consulting globally.
This role is expected to deliver growth across the following areas;
Transformation themes for Industry 4.0 (Smart Manufacturing), Value Chain Optimization (VCO), Integrates Sales & Marketing (ISM), Direct to Consumer (D2C); Intelligent Store, Omni Channel & Customer Experience, Digital Supply Chain, Enterprise Modernization & Smart Operations.
Consulting capabilities across CIO Advisory, Digital and Talent & Change
Our leader is expected to build C-level relationships and leverage strategic partnerships as relevant for business growth strategy, in collaboration with the Global Account Executives and other business leaders globally.
The Opportunity
Wipro is focused on Business and IT engagements for Fortune-500 and Global-2000 clients covering a diverse set of sub-verticals including CPG, Retail, Distribution Travel, Transportation, Hospitality and Services. The successful candidate will drive, define, and support consulting engagements and capabilities. You will also enable the opening of new engagements, drive the adoption of differentiated solutions, and build the Industry Domain Consulting Practice.
Primary duties and responsibilities include:
Growth: Work with the leadership team to define a sound business growth strategy for designated strategic account(s). Ensure the consulting business opens new business opportunities and expands Wipro’s client positioning. The successful candidate is expected to shape, lead, and drive transformation engagements by working closely with CXOs and internal Wipro teams. The individual is also expected to lead consulting workshops to craft future state functional and solution roadmaps.
Relationships: As a Senior Partner you bring deep expertise and good industry connections to develop the consulting and advisory business
Solutions: Identify and define differentiated services and solutions for various process areas within the Retail and CPG industries. Also need to create and continuously refine cutting-edge retail/CPG solution showcases to be demonstrated across Wipro’s Technovation centers
Customer Centricity: Delivering customer value as a central theme across all activities. Ensuring Wipro is delivering as a partner and aligned to client/customer value and strategic goals.
Branding: Leverage the above to help create strong Wipro Market Positioning and increasing Wipro’s mindshare. Create a strong Wipro market positioning – increase Wipro’s mindshare in the CPG/Retail ecosystem (product companies, analysts, and influencers).

Ability to probe customers, engage in conversations to uncover the underlying problems and shape the challenges into structured problem statements
Significant transformation proposition definition and engagement shaping using core and disruptive technologies to solve business problems for tangible business benefits at large enterprise clients. Benefited by functional expertise in Retail/CPG in supply chain, e-commerce, omnichannel, store operations, merchandising, and planning is all a plus.
Be a champion and passionate advocate for Transformation to reposition Wipro as a strategic partner to accelerate and sustain customer value. The individual must be an ambassador for Digital Adoption and the Digital Transformation for the industry.
