EY is looking for a Consultant in IT Control Testing
Your key responsibilities
Drive the business development process on new & existing client engagements by gathering appropriate resources, gaining access to key contacts & supervising proposal preparation.
Identify buyers, influencers & stakeholders in existing client engagements and build strong relationships.
Identify opportunities for cross-selling to current clients/introduce colleagues from other service lines.
Understand processes + associated risks and controls
Proficiency in control testing [2LoD – Risk and Control Function or 3LoD – IA
capacity] Perform Design Effectiveness Testing (DET) basis complexity, issues,
historical experience etc.
Identify samples based on sampling methodology (statistical or non-
statistical) and perform Operating Effectiveness Testing (OET) to check
completeness, accuracy, and timeliness
Populate test sheets/test scripts + record testing outcome per testing
performed + prepare issue log
Discuss and validate findings with relevant stakeholders and agree on
severity (based on control testing framework) and action plan
Communicate control testing results to senior management/relevant
stakeholders
Issue Validation – Monitor remediation progress with agreed timeline
and perform re-testing post remediation
Prepare reports/work papers/status updates/presentations
Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have
Qulaification
Btech/BE/BSc/BCA/ME/M.Tech/MCA/Msc
Experience
· Minimum 2-5 years of relevant work experience
Ideally you’ll also have
Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility
