As a Operations Manager for Size and Fit, you will work with large operations teams and multiple stakeholders to solve the customer problem of size and fit globally.

You will get opportunity to improve the size and fit display across Amazon catalog worldwide by driving standardization and expanding size and fit strategies globally. Your success will improve customer experience, while simultaneously getting exposure to innovative/scalable solutions.

This role will involve driving enrichment programs that deliver value by helping accelerate selection flywheel. Senior Business Research Analysts are expected to create scalable intelligent solutions that solve for problem statements impacting large no of customers, work with stakeholders to understand the business problems, and creating intelligent solutions that can be scaled across various categories, geographies and languages while adhering to a high standard. The role will require driving efforts, both independently and as part of larger project teams and have a significant impact.

Successful candidates will be adapt at iterative experimentation, have experience in building & deploying scalable intelligent solutions, and have worked with cross-functional teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1+ years of experience in financial/business analysis
Experience with SQL or ETL
Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

At least 24 months and above of prior work experience. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience on analytics and delivering project using ML and Python skills.
Strong analytical skills – has ability to ask right questions, analyze data, draws conclusion by making appropriate assumptions.
Operate in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment and take ownership of achieving business objectives.
Organization skills – demonstrated ability to work independently to make complex investigations and Dealing with Ambiguity.
Communication skills – ability to communicate – English (written and spoken).
Ability to communicate complex technical problems in simple plain stories
Ability to present information professionally & concisely with supporting data, conduct root cause analysis using data, provide recommendations for solutions and action plans based on deep-dive outcomes to eliminate defects.
Work effectively & independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Ability to engage with cross-functional teams and gather project/program requirements
Outstanding attention to detail; Exceptional problem solving skills
Experience in modeling complex business scenarios

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Proficiency in SQL and Advanced Excel (Array and Statistical formulas)
Able to produce data. Understand SQL.
Familiar with systems, scripting – depending on the level of experience.
Ability to use ML models to build scalable solutions
Proficiency in Python
Understanding of visualization tools such as Tableau
Experience of managing Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) jobs
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
Automate the report generation process though use of tools and programing techniques: such as SQL, SAS, DW concepts & advanced Excel.
