Role name and description
Tax Senior – Experience in review of US 1040 tax returns and be responsible for client service delivery for a particular geography, area or specialization. Reporting in to an Assistant Manager, Manager or Senior Manager, they will assist the management team in being the first level reviewers and be strong tax technical resource as well as ensuring that resources are deployed effectively on engagements.

Your key responsibilities
Demonstrate a very high level of proficiency in tax technical knowledge relevant to U.S. individual returns as well as complex new technical issues impacting individuals
Drive the tax return production process, review low to complex tax returns and other tax deliverables/computations.
Establish and maintain long-term relationships with the clients and internal colleagues
Explore opportunities through exceptional client service
Help managers with day to day operations and engagement milestones with little or no manager involvement
Demonstrate leadership skills in developing the highest performing teams
Help Senior Managers and Managers with advisory and ad-hoc projects
Develop engagement and financial management skills by managing own and/or other’s impact on project economics, including controlling costs, monitoring budget to actual differences
Contribute process improvement ideas leading to higher quality service delivery to the client or greater efficiency in the compliance process
Identify opportunities to leverage information and resources across assignments and teams

To qualify for the role, you must have

Must be Certified EA, CPA or equivalent with active license and US PTIN
Bachelors or Masters degree
