Senior – A GDS-CTORS Senior will lead teams of Analysts and will be responsible for client service delivery. Reporting to a Assistant manager or experienced senior, they will assist the management team in developing and coaching team members as well as ensuring that resources are deployed effectively. A senior is expected to develop collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues.
GTRS offers the ease of managing clients (also referred to as Engagements within EY) in the following manner:
Providing Operations management support on complex regulatory affairs across multiple jurisdiction
Managing the end-to-end Engagement lifecycle management process and reporting standards
Providing project management support
Responsible for ensuring smooth delivery as per agreed SLA’s
Globally, Global Tax Reporting Services (GTRS) activities are conducted mostly in the local countries and hence requires a wide network of EY professionals to work together to deliver to the client expectations. A central team of GTRS members work with this global network of EY professionals to ensure client’s compliance and reporting obligations across the globe are met on time. The GTRS team manages the engagement together with the GTRS practices operating from local offices in Americas, EMEIA and APAC.

Your Key Responsibilities include
Perform a detailed review of any or some of the below:
Preparation and review of tax workpapers of Federal Withholding form 1042, 1042S, 1099.
Knowledge about recent tax developments and changes in the said field.
Review withholding workpapers like K1 suite, 1099 templates and guide team based on the review.
High level experience of tools like Partners forms, 1099/1042S pro software and Fire website.
Should be experience in customization of forms based on client requirements.
Train team on Tax technical and non-tax technical process.
Manage client/stakeholders relationship by ensuring data quality, evaluate team performance, resolve issues and provide suggestions on implementation plans.
Oversee tax processes by coordinating day-to-day interactions with the team, reviewing engagement work product, driving delivery of services to meet deadlines for client deliverables, developing internal team members, and managing the functional efforts of such tax processes.
Provide effective leadership, feedback and coaching to team members
Build effective long-term relationships and manage workflow effectively with our clients/stakeholders and understand their unique needs to provide tailored services.
Adhere to practice protocol and other internal processes consistently
Communicate progress and project status to all stakeholders as well as internal team leads
Represent the sub-service line practice to external audiences

Leadership (advising and providing direction) to others and maintaining internal network by providing such technical assistance to others within team and cross functional teams in area of expertise.
