We are looking for a candidate to lead our New Age business development efforts across industry sectors for US, Canada and LATAM region based in the USA.
Directly manage senior sales leaders within the New Age sector to drive pipeline growth, secure business (order booking), and achieve revenue targets from both existing and new clients, with performance measured against defined monthly/quarterly/annual goals.
Develop and execute business development strategies, actively shaping and winning large deals.
Drive the creation of new marketing collateral and domain-specific content to support business development efforts, including mailers, practice brochures, proactive pitches, etc.
Quickly develop an in-depth understanding of Wipro’s end-to-end HiTech/New Age offerings, client landscape, relevant case studies, differentiators, and tailor solutions/pitches to match the needs of prospective clients.
Lead all HiTech/New Age sales initiatives and pursuits, collaborating with global, cross-functional teams to develop high-quality, winning business propositions, taking complete ownership of output for HiTech/New Age pursuits.
Facilitate client pursuit meetings, relationship building, solution workshops, due diligence sessions, etc., presenting Wipro’s credentials and value proposition effectively.
Attend analyst briefings and industry conferences to promote Wipro’s HiTech/New Age services business growth and technical expertise.
Lead internal pursuit reviews, covering qualification, win themes, SWOT analysis, value proposition, and support requirements, collaborating with management and larger pursuit teams.
Develop a reasonable understanding of other Wipro business process service offerings to identify potential business opportunities, demonstrating stewardship.
18-20 years of extensive HiTech/ New age sector experience in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), encompassing end-to-end pursuit/opportunity management, execution, program management, New logo hunting and transformation initiatives.
A proven track record in supervisory roles directly managing senior sales leaders, (Both hunting and farming)
Proficient in leading high-level discussions within the HiTech/New Age domain, engaging consultatively with C-suite stakeholders and functional leaders.
Comprehensive understanding of horizontal services like Content Moderation, Trust & Safety, Customer Experience, Finance & Accounting, Supply chain, Procurement, , and HR.
In-depth knowledge of delivery strategies, global delivery locations, retained vs. outsourced models, benchmarks, tools and technology platforms, automation tools, Business Continuity Planning (BCP)/Disaster Recovery (DR) practices, operations performance management, governance models, compliance requirements, and commercial models.
Demonstrated success in securing new business within the HiTech/New Age sector
Demonstrated success in winning large deals. (Both hunting and Farming)
Familiarity with the BPS industry landscape, analysts, deal advisors, product partner ecosystems, and competitors, understanding their strengths and weaknesses.
Possesses a robust network of connections within the New Age customer base.
Proficient in prospecting at the C-level and engaging with senior executive decision-makers, demonstrating a clear understanding of their business needs.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional/global teams, including Solution Design, Business Finance, HR, Risk & Compliance, Transition, Transformation, Quality, and Delivery.
Flexible working approach, capable of operating in both structured and unstructured environments.
Willingness to travel (domestic USA and/or international) to meet internal and external stakeholders for business development purposes.
