About Retail Lending:

The Retail Lending department focuses on the lending business of the bank by offering various loan products like Home Loans, Car Loans, and Personal Loans among others. They also offer working capital loans and Business loans for Small Businesses and is also responsible for the Rural lending business of the bank

About the Role:

Regional Sales Managers (RSM) are a part of the Bank’s sales force whose primary responsibility is to get customers for the bank and explore new business opportunities. RSMs manage a team of executives responsible for selling loan products to the customers based on their needs. They will ensure mapping of market and customers according to their need and handle queries to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Sales, Productivity, Cross Sell, Cost to Income, profitability and growth of channel.

1.     Recruit, Train and Manage team of 300 strong telecallers who will be engaged in selling of products to existing customers of the bank. Regional sales manager will be managing the team of Unit Manager – Personal loan.

2.     Recruit, onboard and train team of Unit managers who will run day to day operations of units.

3.     Develop and implement effective sales strategy to achieve business objectives.

4.     Define and execute recruitment, training and incentive strategy across various levels.

5.     Guide, coach and motivate teams across locations for improved performance.

6.     Drive productivity of the team.

7.     Analyze business numbers to identify opportunities and GAPS for corrective actions.

8.     Ensure delivery of the sales targets assigned for the respective line of business.

9.     Improve existing processes to enhance productivity and overall performance of the team.

10.  Work very closely with stakeholders to obtain support and guidance.

11.  Closely monitor cost .Take corrective actions to keep cost under control.

12.   Ensure compliance to regulatory and internal credit and risk policy.

Optimal qualification for success on the job is:

· Graduation/ Post-Graduation from a recognized institute

For successful execution of the job, a candidate should possess the following:

Sound knowledge of retail banking products and process. Knowledge of digital banking channels like, Internet Banking, Mobile App.
Leadership skills, Inter personal skills, Analytical skills.
