 Prepare plan for the growth of branch business in consultation with the Cluster Head and implement the plan through the Branch team so as to achieve the top line goals. Interface with key accounts/ customers (e.g. top 10%) to establish and strengthen relationship so as to generate sustained business. Ensure implementation of due processes, guidelines and Bank’s code of conduct in all areas of Branch transactions.  
Review daily/ periodic reports (e.g. overdrawn accounts, temporary overdrafts, Cash Retention Limit, office accounts, etc.) and take proactive action to ensure profitable and ethical business.
Ensure compliance of all processes according to bank’s policies/ procedures including audit and statutory 
Create a performance oriented environment leading to high employee motivation/ productivity
Ensure that all staff are adequately trained on the Products of the bank and sales process. Make staff aware of various policies of the bank with regard to customer service and compliance
Ensure employee discipline and resolve indiscipline at work place in consultation with HR/ Cluster Head where required.
 Resolve, report any disruptions (e.g. Band, local disturbance), take appropriate action to ensure branch operations are run smoothly.
 Ensure proper upkeep of branch premises and assets including safety and security.
