Job summary
As part of the AISPL return-to-work program for women, Second Innings, the AWS Enterprise Support team is looking for experienced technologists to undertake a 6-month internship. In this role, you will help our customers realize their desired business outcomes when using AWS Cloud tools.
Second Innings is a hiring program for experienced women professionals who are looking to relaunch their careers after a break of three months or more. This unique internship opportunity will mean those hired will go through a training program that builds critical skills required for the role, and prepare them for their AWS certification to advance their career journey in cloud roles.

About the AWS Enterprise Support Team: The Enterprise Support organization in India is a team of Technical Account Managers (TAM) that delivers focused guidance to our customers through global practices, which cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries. This team works with customers helping to plan and oversee ongoing operations of business-critical applications. They also support in troubleshooting application, network, database, and architectural challenges using a suite of internal AWS Cloud tools. In addition to working alongside our customers, they share their experiences through tech talk webinars, and blog posts that are available to anyone.

About the Role: As an Associate TAM Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in cloud computing, develop business acumen, and learn about Amazon’s peculiar culture while you support unique solutions for our customers’ needs. You will work on projects, have the opportunity to obtain AWS certifications, and attend professional development events. Our team is dedicated to supporting new team members in an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship. Projects and tasks are assigned in a way that leverages your strengths and helps you further develop your skillset.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years of relevant technical work experience and 3 months or more break from work
· Bachelor’s degree in STEM related fields such as computer science, computer engineering, information technology.
· Background in one or more of the following: Technical Support, Systems Design, Network Engineering, Database Administration, and Application Development.
· Experience with one or more of the following: Networking, Security, Databases (relational and/or NoSQL), and Operating Systems (Unix, Linux, and/or Windows).
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Knowledge of primary AWS services such as EC2, ELB, RDS, VPC, Route53, and S3.
· Basic experience setting up cloud environment with AWS.
