Spark operations team is part of DCCS organization and we support data monitoring and relationship inference for digital product lines. Front Line Support (FLS) team is the semi-tech/automation team within spark operations which handles all the manual tasks performed by support engineering teams within DCCS. We provide wide range of opportunities to move into tech teams internally within DCCS. We have internship programs tied up with various tech teams under DCCS which is an opportunity for you to work closely with senior tech associates on specific processes. Get mentorship from senior tech managers and get placed as a support / application engineer.

Key job responsibilities

You are responsible for onboarding the process identified by your manager. This includes working with the stakeholders to understand the process, creating guidelines and defining the metrics that will be shared to the leadership.
You should resolve all the tickets within the committed SLA and should ensure to share status update to all the stakeholders at a regular cadence.
You will be responsible for performing deep dive, conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
You need to ensure all process documents are managed and updated.
You will be responsible for driving small-scale automation’s/simplifications, which would result in reduction of manual efforts, increased productivity and quality.
You need to provide inputs to training and help in shaping training content.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• A bachelor’s degree or higher is required preferably with BE, BTech, Master of computer Applications (MCA), Bsc Computers , BCA background.
• Should be well versed in xml, Regex, Linux commands and Sql queries needed to execute the task successfully
• Knowledge on Java, Python or other scripting languages
• Experience in debugging/troubleshooting issues is added advantage.
• Strong understanding of tickets monitoring and metrics
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills and passion towards problem-solving
• Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal settings
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment
• Creative and analytical problem solvers with a passion for operational excellence
• Should have an eye for detail and escalate exceptions in a timely manner
• Position requires schedule flexibility, with the need to occasionally work outside of the “standard” work day

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in computer applications and technologies are preferred.
• Minimum of two year work experience in related operational areas is required
• Experience and ability to do configuration related work is preferred
• Experience working and coordinating with distributed worldwide teams preferred
• Ability to write complex SQL queries is an added advantage
