Job summary
Amazon Food is seeking an analytical, creative and highly motivated Account Management Associate to lead acquisition and development of restaurants for food ordering on Amazon. This candidate will get a unique opportunity shape the foundations of a hyperlocal high frequency business on A.in.
Successful candidate for this high impact role should be a self-starter with a passion for independent thinking, creative problem-solving, have proven sales & account management skills, show strong ownership and commitment, have proven leadership experience in acquiring and growing large accounts, and bring relevant insights in sales and account management.

S/he will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly and independently, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the complete picture. This person will be able to effectively work within a small team, while rolling up their sleeves and getting stuff done – no detail will be too small and they’ll never say “that’s not my job”. They’ll obsess over details, display structured thought process in fast-moving situations, embrace ambiguity, and deliver results. S/he will have a proven track record of influencing and working with multiple internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve their goals.

Key Job responsibilities include-
1. Working on acquiring regional brands/local favorites/legendary outlets
2. Driving growth of acquired brands through joint business planning
3. Own end to end brand relationships and work as brands’ advocate with other teams
4. Develop, test, and execute aggressive experiments/programs to drive brand acquisition and growth
5. Conduct in-depth analyses to determine experiment/program effectiveness and to continuously improving programs and site initiatives

Key job responsibilities
• Ensure data is captured in prescribed formats within defined SLAs by extending support to partners depending on their capabilities
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders & manage third party external vendors
• Coordinate & communicate with merchants to get the right inputs
• Work in a startup kind of environment
• Train and assist partners to provide information on their products in prescribed formats
• Convert basic information provided by partners into high quality content which gives customer better understanding of the product
• Perform quality check (QC) on data collected from partners
• Work with internal tools effectively and ensure daily activities are completed on time
• Handle the day-to-day volumes of the assigned tasks and ensure the given SLA are met per quality standards

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3+ years experience in sales and account management
• Must be metrics-driven. Have a background in quantitative decision making, ability to drive business/operations metrics, and driving adoption of different tools and resource

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with e-commerce, SME retailers, advertising, or media.
• Past experience in food tech or F&B industry
• Ability to dive deep into a problem, perform ‘Root Cause Analysis’ and identify constraints to recommend a solution
