Inviting applications for the role of Vice President – Life sciences portfolio leader 

The “single point of contact” for both Genpact and the client in order to provide a unified experience. 

Responsibilities: 

This person is the single program owner – a single “driver” of the car, for mega transformation projects involving multi-towers, teams across geographies, through a combination of service lines, digital, practice and transitions.  

Hold end to end accountability of program success through the delivery cycle (transformation, blue-printing, work transfer, digital delivery, etc.).  

Create an Alpha team of project managers drawn from consulting, digital, practice, verticals, change and transitions.  

All these functions need to be orchestrated into a single consistent performance to meet the program success criteria with respect to client expectations, business outcomes, margin and revenue commitments.  

Partnering with customers to identify opportunities that address critical business needs. Manage critical path, dependencies and proactively identify risks associated with the project and develop a mitigation plan 

Qualifications we seek in you! 

Minimum qualifications:  

Post-graduation degree/MBA  

Experience in leading “enterprise wide” programs for large & medium scale customers  

Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI or equivalent external certification (e.g., Prince2 Foundation and Practitioner) 

Successfully led Digital/Technology based Transformation programs. Experience of implementation of digital platforms or tools (Robotics/Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence)  

experience transitioning services from clients into new delivery operating models 

Experience in Change/Risk/Communications/Planning management  

Experience of leading/co-facilitating Design Thinking workshop or implementing the methodology  

Experience in working with global/cross-cultural clients and teams  

Experienced with working in a matrix organization, similar to Genpact’s structure 

Digital program management or service delivery management experience with increasing responsibility  

Successfully leading design and development projects in Agile, Scrum environment 

Leadership experience growing/developing and mentoring your team 

Proven experience in managing complex programs: End to end program management with services transitions from old to new operating models at the core  

Presentation & Storytelling skills: Demonstrated experience running a meeting or large-scale presentation with ease with senior executives 

Consultative Mind-set: Strategic perspective on the work we do and how it can impact our clients [Type text] Vice President-Program & Project Management  

Strong Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to network and create positive relationships with stakeholders (internally and externally) and build a strong expert network 

Business Acumen: Ability to drive end-to-end thinking and solutions to deliver long term benefits to our clients 

Commercial Acumen: Ability to develop unique pricing/cost models, design financial strategies, transformational benefits and negotiations of same 

Ability to work with cross cultural teams – Be sensitive and aware of what is acceptable behavior across different cultures/ethnic groups/religions etc. 

Resourceful: Ability to build and maintain expert network structure/contacts within Genpact to resolve challenges and influence all the internal/external parties involved in executing the contract 

Certification in Digital tools or technologies: RPA or Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning or any other relevant certification such as Agile, Scrum Master and Six Sigma certified  

Proven experience in project managing IO deals 

Preferred Qualifications 

Managing multi-functional Solutions, Transitions & change management with internal and external stakeholders 

P&L management for 3 to 4MM$, spanning 2-3 projects at any point of time  Experience of engaging in strategic and tactical discussions with senior stakeholders to sell product offerings  

Consulting experience at Client level with demonstrated expertise in building E2E transformation solutions
