To enable the program to scale in a sustainable way, Amazon is seeking an exceptional Principal Product Manager who will be part of a start-up group that’s defining and building cutting-edge products and services capabilities supporting Amazon’s current and future last mile initiatives.

This Principal Product Manager will be responsible for owning and developing new iterations of our Delivery Service Partner program, specifically for new use cases within emerging country regions such as APAC, MENA, and LATAM. This individual will organize expansions and new initiatives across the program, measure the success of the program over time, and identify opportunities to continually improve the program for Amazon customers and the entrepreneurs that own and operate small delivery businesses. The optimal fit for this role will be a candidate wanting to roll-up his or her sleeves, dive into a challenge, develop a solution and path forward, and convince senior management that their solution is the best one. This will be a high visibility role, meaning that the optimal candidate will be comfortable driving critical business decisions in fast paced, high pressure, and often ambiguous environment. A successful candidate will be customer focused, highly analytical, resourceful, a big thinker, a strong writer, and able to operate at all levels of the organization. Any background in logistics, last mile, or with metrics and product management will be considered a plus.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
Experience with end to end product delivery
Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

8+ years of product management, product strategy, program management or engineering experience
2+ years of experience with end-to-end product delivery
Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Bachelor’s Degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to partner with stakeholders and drive consensus toward mutual goals.
Quantitative background with high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities in an ever-changing environment.
Strong strategic aptitude; proven ability to define a winning business strategy and product roadmap and gain buy-in from stakeholders at all levels.
MBA and/or advanced degree in a technical discipline.
Ability to conceptualize complex interrelated applications and system platforms, as well as the ability to effectively communicate those systems to non-technical team members and business partners.
Experience building new products from experiments.
Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition.
Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
Passion for technology, willingness to dive deep into the technical products Amazon is building, and commitment to learning and expanding technical knowledge. Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing technology concepts, scheduling tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members.
