The Amazon Pay Marketing team is looking for a seasoned market researcher with big ideas, a passion for solving unique problems, and strong consultative and strategic mindset – to help us build and drive a world class insights function for the business. This role will develop and own the insights programs from strategy development, through influencing stakeholders, to acting on insights. This role requires a diverse research skillset with strong analytical know-how, outstanding business acumen, the ability to build consensus quickly and bias for action. The successful candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity, have strong attention to detail, and be motivated by a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

• Being a thought leader and trusted partner on customer insights
• Applying sound research and business acumen to help the business solve complex research questions
• Taking disparate data and connecting the dots to craft meaningful narratives that help the business look around corners
• Diving deep into data to understand not only the ‘what’, but the ‘so what’ and ‘now what’
• Defining, building, and championing scalable and agile market research solutions, tools, and processes
• Creating mechanisms to share insights and influencing product, category and marketing stakeholders to act on insights
• Leveraging internal and external resources to execute innovative research techniques
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
– Experience communicating results to stakeholders
– Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 8 to 10 years’ experience in Market Research – designing, executing, analyzing, and drafting actionable recommendations from primary research and other syndicated data
– Experience conducting custom quantitative and qualitative research
– Experience in brand and product research methodologies
– Ability to assimilate data and hone in on key insights that drive business recommendations
– Ability to interact, communicate and influence within multiple levels of the organization
– Exceptional written communication skills
– Ability to manage multiple projects with critical deadlines
– Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
– Experience in statistical modelling, SPSS/SAS/R
– Experience in Digital Payment/E-commerce
– MBA or relevant Master’s Degree from a top-tier institution
