DESCRIPTION
Join the team that launched the loved Echo, Fire TV and Kindle Devices in India! We are looking for a customer-obsessed, analytical and results-oriented Product Manager to lead a diverse range of go-to-market initiatives in support of new Echo product launches, product marketing initiatives and category expansion initiatives enabling the growth of Alexa endpoints. The ideal candidate will have deep consumer marketing and product marketing experience, and a demonstrated ability to define customer needs into business requirements and drive technical projects to completion. You must be comfortable dealing with significant ambiguity, have strong ownership, and must be able to work successfully across global teams. Having a good sense of metric based decision making is a must. You must be comfortable working both at the strategic level and diving deep into implementation as needed for major launches (including managing marketing campaigns, writing business requirements and analyzing data). This person should be able to drive focus and excellence within the programs they own, with their colleagues in Sales, Marketing and Product management, and with colleagues across the organization–including In stock, Business Intelligence and Legal. You will take ownership and help foster a high-energy, high-performance culture.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead go-to-market/product marketing strategy for new Echo products in India, starting from evaluating product concepts, developing business case and reviewing investment plans with Amazon Devices leadership
• Architect the launch strategy, leading a large cross-functional team to deliver a seamless, successful product launch across marketing, onsite CX, distribution channels, customer support, warranty and returns.
• Act as customer and product evangelist internally and externally with all associated teams.
• Measure and analyze existing products for opportunities to innovate and improve, providing additional benefits to customers. Work closely with the product development team to define Indian customer product needs and get them prioritized for design and release.
• Research and identify new opportunities across new product categories for Amazon to further increase Alexa end points and engagement.
• Co-own with the Alexa team, full-year usage and engagement targets; track progress and action plan to achieve goals in weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews held with Amazon Devices leadership
• Develop campaigns to test and learn about customer behavior on device; share best practices across categories and regions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
– 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
– Experience communicating results to stakeholders
– MBA
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
– Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
– Self-motivated and comfortable working with minimal supervision
