EY-Consulting– AspenTech SCM – Senior Consultant (4 to 7 years)
The opportunity
EY GDS is a global major in value-added Digital Supply Chain services for its clients. As part of this rapidly growing business segment, you will play a critical role in developing solutions, implementations, and performance improvement of AspenTech modules (DM/SP/PS/ASCC). This role will help the individual to work collaboratively with the end user community, implementation partners, cross-functional teams and other IT resources to identify system deficiencies and opportunities for business process enhancements. Your key responsibilities
Provide solutions proficiency in AspenTech (DM/SP/PS) modules to analyse and identifying gaps, to lead the solution design, and implement the AspenTech application modules to meet business requirements
Lead implementation, configurations, testing, training, knowledge transfer and documentation activities
Able to conduct workshops to understand end to end business process requirements and propose the best possible solution
Deliver high quality client solutions that meet and exceed client/EY expectations and are delivered on-time and on-budget
Manage client solution delivery, including defining project approach, motivating project teams, monitoring, managing project risks, managing client and EY key stakeholders and successfully delivering client solutions
Identifying new business opportunities, including building strong client relations, understanding client needs and EY solution offerings, communicating client opportunities to EY leadership, and helping develop client opportunities
Ability to handle database setups, understanding of schemas, ODBC connections and perform SSMS coding to develop the custom objects
Skills and attributes for success

Develop detailed solution design based on business requirements
Strong expertise in detailed implementation of AspenTech SCM modules

Prepare and Review project documentations
To qualify for the role, you must have
Well versed in supply chain related domain knowledge, be able to understand common business problems, and translate business input to advise clients on appropriate solutions to meet their forecasting, planning and scheduling objectives
4 to 7 years of hands-on experience, as a consultant providing supply chain solutions for customers required
Experience working with AspenTech supply chain management modules (DM, SP and PS) as either a customer of AspenTech or as a consultant implementing Aspentech solutions for customers/clients preferred
Programming skills in any major programming language such as C, C++, Java, SQL, HTML, XML and understanding of database setup/architecture/programming. Coding experience in MIMI is preferred
Strong business analysis skills, understanding and usage of statistical algorithms, SCM concepts, S&OP process knowledge, awareness of tactical and strategic planning on overall supply chain required, familiarity with constrained optimization problems (LP/MILP), solution design experience in supply chain digitization projects
Relevant consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions such as Oracle, O9, Kinaxis, BY, Logility, SAP, or leading ERP is an added advantage
Ideally, you’ll also have
Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Operations Research preferred. A combination of Bachelor ’s degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree
Strong business analysis skills, understanding and usage of statistical algorithms, SCM concepts, S&OP process awareness of tactical and strategic planning on overall supply chain required
Overall, 4 to 7 years of experiences as SCM planner and responsibilities delivering projects in Supply Chain Management, Forecasting, Production Scheduling domains
Working experience with Onsite & Offshore delivery model environment is preferred
Engaging with business partners and IT to understand requirements from various parts of an organization to drive the design, programming execution, and UAT for future state capabilities within the platform
Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and strict deadlines
Good understanding of outsourcing and off shoring, building win/win strategies and contracts with suppliers
