Job Summary:

As a Managed Services Junior Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing first-level support for our AWS/ETL managed services. You will work closely with senior engineers to monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the optimal functioning of our AWS cloud and ETL services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-level technical support for AWS/ETL services, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Monitor AWS cloud environments and ETL processes, identifying and reporting any performance or security issues.
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of ETL workflows and data integration tasks.
Collaborate with the support team to escalate complex issues to senior engineers and follow through on resolutions.
Document all technical inquiries, issues, and solutions in the support knowledge base.
Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to the continuous improvement of our support processes.
Develop a solid understanding of AWS services and ETL tools to enhance support capabilities.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of system documentation and user guides.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
1-2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably with exposure to AWS and ETL platforms.
Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and AWS Glue.
Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration principles.
Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn new technologies.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
AWS certification or relevant coursework is a plus.
