Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

·       Develop and sell new solutions (managed services, distinct technology solutions etc.) for the Mobility practice as part of the GTM initiative

·       Periodic monitoring and reporting of sales opportunities, pipeline and wins

·       Contribute to generating profitable revenue through identifying follow-on engagement opportunities and developing lasting relationships with clients

·       Lead project work streams from planning through to implementation – managing project resources and budgets effectively 

·       Experience in tax and regulatory support for global mobility

Your main objective is to help the Transaction tax team deliver quality deliverables in an efficient manner, manage execution team and meet client expectations on a consistent basis.

 Business Development & Go-to-Market responsibilities

· Develop and Implement accounts strategy for TRANSACTION TAX offerings targeted at clients within identified industry segments and market segments

· Develop and sell new solutions (managed services, distinct technology solutions etc.) for the TRANSACTION TAX practice as part of the GTM initiative

· Periodic monitoring and reporting of sales opportunities, pipeline and wins

 Operational Excellence / Day to day responsibilities

· Lead and coordinate the planning and management of small / medium assignments, independently: Pricing, Billing and Recovery, Maximize fee opportunity.

· Create and manage strong independent relationships with clients, with minimal partner involvement.

· Expand opportunities with existing clients, identify and act on referrals

· Build value for the firm by marketing firm’s services on an overall basis, winning new clients and work from existing clients, identifying and converting opportunities.

· Develop sound value based solutions and apply technical knowledge and strategic thinking in delivery of solutions to clients.

· Develop and implement risk management strategies and manage sensitive and high level risk issues.

· Champion knowledge sharing efforts, review and continually improve processes so that the team and firm capture and leverage knowledge.

· Create an environment for the team to think of innovations and to do things differently. Get involved in developing new products, services and delivery methods on a regular basis.

Your key responsibilities

 

o   Identify, validate (with reference to EY policies), Cross Sell and share potential business opportunities for expansion & development.

o   Drafting and finalizing content for technical and financial proposals

o   Managing fee negotiations and relationship management

o   Work alongside the EY markets and business development team to develop tailored proposal

o   Manage client deliverables related to R2R, Payroll, Statutory compliance etc.,

o   Review Fixed Assets Register

o   Review GST workings /reconciliations

o   Well versed with IGAAP and working knowledge of USGAAP, IFRS will be an added advantage

o   Working knowledge of Ind AS.

o   Experience in MIS with strong Excel, Power Point skills

o   Strong Accounting & Payroll Knowledge, being well versed in all statutory compliances

Skills and attributes

To qualify for the role you must have
Qualification

·       Bachelor degree in law or a qualified chartered accountant

·       Must be a Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India

A post graduate degree or equivalent with a specialization in Human Resources (India or abroad) from a reputed institute

Experience

5-6 years of relevant post-qualification experience in – Corporate tax, Personal tax or International Tax
6 – 9 years of experience in HR role (recruitment, organization structuring, manpower planning, compensation and benefits, learning and development, performance management etc.)
Relevant professional experience, including for example previous work with a global management consultancy firm, niche consultancy or performed an in-house role in which you gained exposure to a large-scale project(s)
