Job Title: Java Developer with FIX Protocol Expertise

Job Overview: EY is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with specialized experience in Financial Information Exchange (FIX) Protocol to enhance our dynamic development team. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial markets and real-time trading systems, coupled with proficiency in working with FIX engines and messaging protocols. This pivotal role focuses on the development and refinement of our trading platform, seamless integration with various brokers and exchanges, and the assurance of high-performance, low-latency communication across our system network.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and sustain advanced trading systems utilizing Java and FIX Protocol.
Implement and manage FIX message processes, including orders, executions, and market data.
Integrate and provide ongoing support for FIX engines to facilitate communication with trading partners.
Optimize trading system performance to meet the demands of low-latency and high-frequency trading environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including traders, quantitative analysts, and IT professionals, to elicit requirements and deliver cutting-edge solutions.
Uphold compliance with industry standards and trading protocols.
Diagnose and rectify issues within FIX message flows and real-time trading platforms.
Craft unit tests and uphold exceptional code quality standards.

Required Skills:

Proficient in Java development (Core Java, multithreading, concurrency).
Demonstrable experience with FIX Protocol (versions 4.x or 5.x).
Familiarity with various FIX Engines (e.g., QuickFIX, OnixS).
Experience in developing low-latency and real-time systems.
Comprehensive knowledge of financial markets, trading systems, and market data across various asset classes.
Solid grasp of TCP/IP, messaging systems, and network fundamentals.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Acquaintance with Spring Framework or comparable enterprise Java frameworks.
Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Proficiency in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and performance optimization.
Background in high-frequency trading (HFT) or algorithmic trading systems.
