Your key responsibilities
Technical Excellence
Forensic Investigation: Proficiency in forensics investigation to trace counterfeit activities, identify online fraud, and uncover infringers using sophisticated technology.
Market Surveillance Tools: Expertise in using advanced software tools and databases for monitoring marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, and social media for potential brand infringements.
Evidence Collection and Documentation: Ability to gather and document evidence in a legally admissible format, including photos, videos, and digital records.
Skills and attributes
To qualify for the role you must have
Qualification
3+ years of experience in brand protection, IPR, or related fields.
Strong knowledge of IPR, trademark regulations, and enforcement procedures.
Experience in conducting investigations on various brand protection work.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Willingness to travel as required.
Experience
The Brand Protection & IPR Investigation Specialist is responsible for safeguarding the brand’s integrity by monitoring, investigating, and enforcing Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) within the designated region. This role involves conducting investigations into counterfeit products, trademark infringements, and unauthorized use of the brand. The ideal candidate will have strong investigative skills, a solid understanding of IPR laws, and the ability to work closely with the teams.
Brand Protection Strategy:
Develop and implement brand protection strategies to combat counterfeiting, trademark infringement, and unauthorized brand usage.
Monitor the market for potential threats to the brand, including online and offline channels.
Investigations:
Conduct thorough investigations into suspected IPR violations, including counterfeit products, piracy, and illegal distribution.
Gather evidence and document findings to support legal actions and enforcement measures.
Market Intelligence:
Conduct regular market surveys and audits to identify potential risks and infringers.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of threats.
Reporting:
Prepare detailed reports on investigations, market surveillance.
Track and report the effectiveness of brand protection initiatives
