The opportunity
We’re looking for a senior resource who involves leading the design and management of Dynatrace monitoring solutions for enterprise applications. The specialist will integrate Dynatrace with various platforms, optimize performance, develop custom insights, and mentor junior staff.

Senior Dynatrace Instrumentation Specialist With 6 to 8 Yrs of Experience
 

Your key responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage end-to-end monitoring solutions using Dynatrace for large-scale enterprise applications.
Lead the integration of Dynatrace with various platforms, including cloud services, container orchestration systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
Perform advanced configuration and tuning of Dynatrace to ensure high availability and performance of monitored applications.
Develop custom dashboards and reports within Dynatrace to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Conduct in-depth diagnostics and analytics to identify root causes of performance bottlenecks and recommend optimization strategies.
Collaborate with development, operations, and business teams to establish performance baselines and SLOs/SLAs.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members in Dynatrace instrumentation and best practices.
Stay current with the latest Dynatrace features and updates, and evaluate their applicability to ongoing monitoring needs.
Manage the lifecycle of Dynatrace monitoring, including installation, upgrades, and license management.
Lead troubleshooting efforts and incident response activities when performance issues arise, leveraging Dynatrace data.
Document monitoring strategies, tool configurations, and operational procedures related to Dynatrace. 

Skills and attributes for success

Proficient in Dynatrace full-stack monitoring, including APM, infrastructure monitoring, digital experience monitoring, and AIOps.
Strong understanding of application performance management concepts and methodologies.
Expertise in scripting and automation for monitoring integrations (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their native monitoring tools.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

To qualify for the role, you must have

 A minimum of 6 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 3 years focused on application performance monitoring using Dynatrace.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Dynatrace certification(s) such as Dynatrace Professional or Dynatrace Associate.
Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale Dynatrace deployments in complex environments.
 A track record of successful performance optimization projects.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Experience in working with cross-functional teams in a global environment.
Willingness to be on-call and work outside of standard business hours as needed.
