The Opportunity:Consultant – KYC/ AML – Bangalore / Hyderabad

 

Your key responsibilities

 

Support client engagements where EY is managing KYC / AML (Onboarding / Refresh) projects

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

Extensive Experience in providing functional analysis in AML and KYC in US, UK and EMEIA jurisdictions.
Complete understanding of KYC, CDD, EDD
Good Understanding of AML and KYC Regulations, industry trends, red flags, typologies, KYC refresh processes and procedures
Understanding of onboarding/renewals/remediating individual’s vs institutional customers including casinos, MSBs, Financial Institutions, Regulated Entity, Private Entity.
Anti Money Laundering regulations, Terrorist financing issues, Including policies, procedures, regulations, Industry standard methodology.
Perform research on shareholding structures, directors, business activities etc. in public sources(internet)
Analyse the content of the data and documents retrieved during the research.
Understanding of OFAC lists and dealing with tools like World check, Lexis Nexis.
Experience in screening on the companies and people found during the research based on name, address and date of birth and ensure the right persons are being screened. Screened
can consist of sanctions, PEP, adverse media.
Perform necessary checks to identity politically exposed persons, sanctioned, Adverse information on individuals and entities and mitigate risks associated with financial crimes.
Archive the documents and findings in our system together with an overall risk recommendation.
Ability to understand the regulations and procedures of processes and remain informed about the updates.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have:

 

2+ years of exp into financial crime, End to End KYC
Graduate/ post-graduate with professional qualifications

 

 

 

Ideally, you’ll also have:
