We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Employment Counsel to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice and guidance on a wide range of employment law matters. They will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with labor regulations and fostering a positive work environment for our employees. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with various departments within the organization and contribute to the company’s strategic initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
Employment Advisory: Advise internal stakeholders on day-to-day and out of the ordinary employee-related matters. This may include matters pertaining to disciplinary, behavioural, performance issues.
Work with internal teams such as HR, Compensation, Talent Acquisition in formulating, reviewing, revising policies, conducting training in accordance with the law.
Employment Litigation & Legal notice: Liase with external counsel on litigation pertaining to employees and to strategize with the counsel to obtain the best possible outcome for Wipro.
Employment Conciliation: Own employee conciliations before the Labour authorities (this includes formulating an appropriate response for the labour authorities)
Compliance with Labour Laws: Ensure that the company and vendor is aligned with the applicable labour laws and advise on matters such as CLRA, PF, EPS, Minimum Wages, etc.
Should be willing to travel: Work includes travelling across PAN India locations.
